Here is the illustration of thermal camera view.

Shaded gray area indicates the thermal camera field of vision. In order to detect human temperature, height range from 0.9m to 1.9m. The lower limit in following picture is 0.8m because 0.1m tolerance is the allowance to make the camera can capture a 0.9m tall child’s temperature from the face. In case for camera to detect this height range, human needs to keep at least 1.6m distance from robot.
